The German word "nun", meaning "now" in English, means "snow" and "eyes" in Korean. This trans-lingual homonym carries significantly different meaning depending on who says it, and where. It is with this perspective that we conducted our research at Kinderbauernhof (kids’ farm) in Kreuzberg. Through the juxtaposition of archival video and a semi-fictional film from a foreigner’s perspective, we offer an alternative narrative to the site, while digging deeper into its development, memory and utopian fantasies.

독일어 단어 nun은 영어로 “지금(now)”을 뜻하지만, 한국어에서는 “눈(snow/eyes)”을 의미한다. 이 다언어적 동음이의어는 누가, 어디에서 발화하는지에 따라 크게 다른 의미를 지닌다. 이러한 시각에서 우리는 크로이츠베르크의 Kinderbauernhof(어린이 농장)에서 리서치를 진행했다. 아카이브 영상과 외국인의 시선으로 구성된 반(半)허구적 영화를 병치함으로써, 우리는 이 장소의 발전, 기억, 그리고 유토피아적 상상에 대해 더 깊이 탐구하면서도 대안적 서사를 제시하고자 한다.
